We were on the gravy train with biscuit wheels before you showed up.

So I was right…. The last couple of weeks have been insane at work, and out. My last day at this job got pushed back from the 15 to the 28. But we’ve been running around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to get everything packed and ready for the moves. Half of the stuff is going to the other offices of this company, and the other half is going to my new company. If I never move another office again… it will be far too soon! It’s been hella stressful for everyone involved. Start with the new company on Thursday of next week. Should be interesting. A lot more laid back too. YAY!

Personal life has been not too bad. I’m distressing a bit, which it helping with my personal life and causing a lot less drama. YAY! Been spending a lot of time with Travis and with family lately. It’s been really nice.
“Ran into” someone I haven’t seen in years last weekend. He was a guy I knew when I lived in NY. He’s been staying with my dad for the last week. It was awesome to see him again. He seems to be doing pretty well. Met his dog Buck. Buck is the sweetest freaking dog ever! He’s awesome. Our dogs weren’t so found of Buck, but they dealt with it. Had a moment where I wasn’t sure if all of them were going to get away from each other alive, but it worked out.

Been thinking a lot lately about the things I used be very passionate about doing, but they’ve somehow fallen to side in the past few years. As soon as I get a couple more things ironed out (in both work and personal life) I’m going to see what I can do about making time for those things again. I really want to spend more time with my guitars… I used to love to play… it was my escape from the world and everything that was happening in it… but I haven’t played just to play in… forever. I’m also thinking about getting a keyboard of some sort, so I can work on learning to play the piano again. And spending time with my mom in her glass shop. We used to spend at least one afternoon a week out there making things… I think we should get in the habit of doing it again. The list goes on… but I don’t have time to be typing them all out. Lol

This weekend should prove to be interesting. I have no idea what we’ve got going on tonight. But tomorrow evening is my company’s “holiday” party. We have to get all dressed up and be on our “best” behavior. Should be interesting, especially since it’s my last one.

Well, time for me to run along and.... I dunno... do something.

::sigh:: the weekends are never long enough! This weekend has been a really good one though. Friday I worked late, then went with my dad to pick up my car. (one more trip into the shop when they call me and it's all better!) YAY. After that I came home and picked up Travis and we went out to dinner with my parents. Came home and played some video games and went to bed. Yesterday we got up and went to my dad's house. Played some scrabble. Watched a comedy dvd called "arguing with myself" it's really funny! Played some more scrabble, then went out to dinner.

I wasn't feeling to well after dinner, so we came home. Watched some tv and fell asleep. Today, nothing really going on yet. Travis is still asleep and I'm watching the thirs Harry Potter movie. Later we'll get up and go to my dad's for dinner.

This week is going to be insane. There's last min packing and stuff to be done at work.... but then it's all over! :o)

So it's been a long time since I've sat down and written anything in here. Been insanely busy for awhile now. Have a lot going on lately.
Where to start....

So I got my car back at some point... yeah, it wasn't completely fixed. So it's back in the shop now waiting for written approval to do the work from the insurance company. Oh joy... gods know how long that will take! ::insert eye roll here::

Let's see... other news... I'm losing my job. yay. The company that bought us out is getting rid of my office and basically firing and/or pushing out everyone who works in it. So My last day here is soon. But I already have another job lined up, so it's ok. I'm gonna be working for a company on the site in PA. I won't be moving up there just yet, but sooner or later I will be. Should be interesting to work there.

Been totally stressed out lately... about everything. My poor friends... have to deal with moody stressed out me lol. It's been causing some drama in my relationship with Travis. But we're hanging in there and things seem to be getting better. :)

::sigh:: ok, I have to get back to work. Probably write more later.

So it’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve had the chance to sit down and write anything in here. Been a bit busy with the holidays and all.
Still don’t have my car back…. Should get it back in about a week… week and a half. The other guys insurance is paying for everything which rocks. I miss my car terribly though!!! Been seeing the Chiropractor since the accident, back and shoulder have been a little messed up. But they both appear to be getting all better, so hopefully that’s almost over with.
Christmas was pretty good. That weekend was insane. Friday night we went to a friends house for a party. It was awesome to get to see some friends that we haven’t seen in a couple of months. Sat we bummed around for awhile, then had dinner with my mom and brother. Niki drove up and hung out with us for a little while Saturday night. Then I went and saw a couple of friends. It was nice, haven’t seen any of them in a while. When I got home from that Travis and I exchanged our gifts to each other cause we knew the next few days would be crazy. He got me a blanket, a ring (no not that kind of ring!), a bottle of Just Desserts Mint Cookie Liquer (YUM) and a calander. I got him a holder to put his father’s flag in and made him a shadow box of a couple of his father’s things.
Sun we drove to my home town and saw my "dad" and his wife. And their 4 very cute dogs.
Then it was time to head to my grandparents house…. Oh joy. Almost everyone from that part of the family was there. It was nice to see everyone, but it was insane in that house all night!! But we lived through it and that’s what matters right?!?! Lol. There were 11 adults, 1 teenager, 3 kids and 3 dogs in the house for xmas eve. Craziness!!! But the food was good and the company was not to bad lol so all in all it was a good night.
Spent the night at my dad’s house that night so we would already be there in the morning to do xmas with him and mom. Got some cool stuff for my apt that I wanted, so that rocked. Trav got some cool stuff too. It was a nice day.
This week has been horribly long lol. Haven’t really done a whole lot except work, but it seems like the week has taken FOREVER to be over.
Not sure yet what the hell we’re doing for New Year’s. We haven’t really talked about it. I’m sure we’ll come up with something though.
I probably won’t be anywhere near a comp this weekend. So I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe new years!

So it's been sort of a trying week to say the least. Spent most of it in a fair amount of pain and soreness, but I'm doing a hell of a lot better now. Left shoulder/arm is still a bit sore and stiff, but nothing I can't live with. I freaking hate insurance companies! They are a pain in the ass. But I know it could be worse.

Let's see... Monday wasn't too bad a day. Went to my chiropractors to see what she could do for my pain. OMG i heart her! lol It was very helpful. Then went to mom's for date night. Good times. Got the most adorably singing and walking penguin from my dad that night. Been puppy/house sitting for my dad for the last couple of days. I heart puppy time!! They are so adorable!!!

Started a new blanket this week. So know I'm not gonna get it done on time, but I'm still working on it every chance I get.

You know, people amaze me. Reading the news on AOL when I check my email makes my life seem totally normal and sane. People do and say some stupid shit.

car accidents suck

wrote this yesterday, but didn't get a chance to post it...

::sigh:: so it’s been about a week since I’ve had a chance to write anything in here. Last week was kinda busy. Just doing a lot of random things.

I’m totally almost done with one of the blankets I’m making for someone for Christmas. YAY! Only two more to go, and I know they won’t be done in time for xmas, but better lat e then never right?!? Lol

This weekend was insane. Friday I spent doing family things. Sat xmas things with my mom, bro and travis. Had a little drama that evening, but whatever. Sunday… Sunday sucked in the morning. Travis and I were in a car accident on the way out to family dinner. I was coming down a road towards an intersection where I didn’t have a stop sign but the road crossing did. As I came over the hill there was a car at the stop sign on the left. Then, the car pulled out into the middle of the intersection and STOPPED!!!! There was no way I was going to not hit this car. I slammed on my brakes and turned my wheel as far as I could to the right so that I wouldn’t hit the passenger door and seriously injury the lady in the passenger seat. So our cars hit and mine kept going up into the grass on one of the corners… took out the stop sign. Turns out the reason they were stopped in the middle of the freaking road is because the lady couldn’t decide which way she wanted her hubby (who was driving) to go (they aren’t from around here and were a little lost.) No serious injuries, but both cars had to be towed. Mom came and picked us up. As the day went on I got more and more sore. Today… it’s hell. I can’t move anything with it hurting insane amounts, but I know it could be worse! So now I’m playing the waiting game… I’m waiting for the insurance adjuster to call me back so I can figure out what’s going on with my car. ::sigh::

Not how I wanted to start my Sunday. Other than that though It was a good day. We played a lot of scrabble with my parents and had a great dinner.

Made the mistake of going home and taking a nap after work. Yeah, totally couldn't sleep most of the night because of it! suckage! But, I did get to watch some NCIS season one so that was nice.

Finished another book in the LA Banks series I'm reading. It's getting more interesting as I go along. Little miffed at the moment though, brought what I thought was the next one in the series with me, turns out it's not next, it's the one after the next one! damnit!

Well, nothing really of interest at the moment, just tired rambling.
